Sacred Varanasi Heritage Circuit

Land in Varanasi and settle into your riverside heritage stay. As the afternoon cools, take a slow, unhurried first walk along the ghats with your guide — no itinerary pressure, just an introduction to the rhythm of the river before the city truly reveals itself tomorrow.

Before dawn, board a private wooden boat and drift past the ghats as priests begin their rituals and the sky turns gold. Return for breakfast, then spend the late morning threading through the old city's lanes — brass workshops, sweet stalls, and shrines tucked into centuries-old walls.

A short drive out of the city to Sarnath, where the Buddha delivered his first sermon. Walk the deer park, the Dhamek Stupa, and the site museum at an easy pace, with time built in for quiet reflection before heading back into Varanasi by early evening.

Watch the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat as evening falls — drums, conch shells, and hundreds of oil lamps carried across the water. Afterwards, a private classical music performance awaits in a heritage haveli overlooking the river.

Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of Hinduism's twelve Jyotirlinga shrines, then spend the afternoon with a family of silk weavers for a hands-on look at how Banarasi silk is made, thread by thread.
